This whisky has a unique nose of lemon geranium, toffee, biscuit, complimented by heavy oil, thick, fleeting honey, then wood varnish and pepper, rather hot, with or without water on the palate, and topped off by a lemon zest, ending on wood and spice finish.

Tweeddale
Richard Day blended The Tweeddale Whisky in Coldstream by the River Tweed in the Scottish Borders from 1895 until the 1940s. Brothers John and Andrew Davidson began their business in Coldstream. Minute details were recorded of numerous blending recipes in the ‘cellar book’. Richard Day took over the business in 1923. Alasdair Day inherited his great-grandfather’s cellar book in 2010. Using the original recipe of eight single malts and one single grain, The Tweeddale Whisky was reborn
