About us
The Malt Whisky Agency is a family run business based in the heart of Scotland within the beautifully historic City of Stirling. Over the years, we have explored, tasted, and learned everything about Malt Whisky becoming specialists in sourcing rare and unique Limited Edition Whiskies. We are more than just whisky retailers; we have relationships with distilleries and a network of contacts ensuring we can provide specialist bottles to customers worldwide.
Alex, Helen, and their son Alasdair established the Malt Whisky Agency in 2015 to provide the customer a more personal alternative to whisky auctions and shops. We looked at the estate agency model within the property market where a personalised service is provided by knowledgeable specialists. We aspire to be more than a shop or auction merely listing products; we offer tailored advice to our customers based on our experience. This could be investment opportunities, specialist bottles, and rare or alternatives products. We strive to source hard-to-find products and build relationships with customers.
Since establishment almost 10 years ago, we have learned so much about the whisky industry. We have key relationships with suppliers, shops and distilleries enabling us to provide products directly to you, the customer. This network enables us to procure the likes of special hand-filled single cask strength bottles, discontinued stock from distilleries, committee releases, limited editions, distillery exclusives, single casks, festival bottlings, and old & rare products. We have released our own independent bottling which can only be found exclusively here.
