This whisky has a unique nose of invitingly smoky. smouldering peat and lightly charred oak, honey glazed lemons and crushed aniseed, complimented by a harmony of complex yet perfectly balanced flavours follows cloudy heather honey and just a hint of sweetly aromtic violet on the palate, and topped off by a the final lingering noted suggest pink grapefruit zest, freshly baked sponge cake anda final echo of heathery peat smoke finish.

Highland Park
A Scotch whisky distillery based in Kirkwall, on the rugged and wild Orkney Islands, Scotland. Centuries before Orkney became part of Scotland it was part of a large Viking Kingdom, a heritage celebrated in Highland Parks core range. The distillery was founded as an illicit still in 1798 by Magnus Euson at High Park in Kirkwall. Magnus is a direct descendant of the early Viking settlers. Highland park make whisky the same way as it was over 220 years ago using local peat and processes from those time. You can visit the distillery for tours and tastings and there is also a Shop in Kirkwall town (Highland Park, 2024)
