This whisky has a unique nose of heavily peated to 40ppm giving a bonfire and natural smoke notes balanced with rich christmas cake, sultanas and raisins, complimented by a bold balance of the signature port charlotte peat smoke and delicate fruit giving sweet honey, chocolate and tobacco on the palate, and topped off by a medium long with a rounded mouth feel wine and sherry cask finish.

Bruichladdich
Is found on the Rhinns of the Isle of Islay in Scotland. The distillery produces mainly single malt whisky but also artisanal gin. It is one of eight working distilleries on Islay. Bruichladdich (Brook-laddy) was built in 1881 by the Harvey brothers and a state of the art distillery developed from old farm buildings. It changed owners over 40 years several times. It was bought over in 2012 and went into full production in 2013. Today about 16 farms grow barley for the distillery and passionate about the barley used to make their whisky. The distillery welcomes visitors year round for tours and tastings.
