Mortlach x Starck “Become” is a 2024 limited-edition Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, part of the L’Evolution collection designed by Philippe Starck. It is a bold, “beastly” expression matured in virgin oak, red wine, and refill casks, featuring a spicy, sweet, and peppery profile with notes of dried fruit. The bottle is notably housed in a metallic “cage” design. Described as “thunderous,” “untamed,” and “vibrant” with a strong, spicy, and sweet flavor profile.
Design: Philippe Starck designed a specialized metallic cage for the bottle to represent the brain’s gyrus, providing protection and temperature inertia.
