Linkwood distillery presents Malt Whisky Agency – Linkwood 11 Year Old 50.1%, released in 2022. There were 221 bottles in this release.
This whisky has a unique nose of big spice character with vanilla and manuka honey fruity spirit with delicate white peach and raspberry, complimented by luxuriously velvety rich cinnamon, ginger and mulled spice on the palate, and topped off by a long, nutty balanced caramel finish.

Malt Whisky Agency – Linkwood 11 Year Old 50.1%
Linkwood
Linkwood distillery was established in 1821, by Peter Brown in Elgin, Scotland. Brown was a local factor and used barley grown on his land. However production wouldn’t be seen until 1825. The Brown family retained ownership under Peter’s son William, until the late 1800s, with a only a single further sale in 1933 to Scottish Malt Distillers (later becoming Diageo). In 1962 the distillery was rebuilt overseen by Roderick McKenzie, distillery manager. Furthermore, in 1971 a second four still distillery was built running as Linkwood A (the senior distillery) and Linkwood B until 1985 when Linkwood A ceased production and were ultimately demolished in 2012. Linkwood sadly cannot be visited but continues to produce wonderful Speyside malts both used for blends, special releases and some special independent bottlings. Such as our very own ‘Aon’.
