“Sinteis”, meaning “Synthesis” in Scottish Gaelic, embodies our cask creativity as we merge two bold yet complementary wood types to concoct unparalled expressions. Uniting rich single malt matured in first fill Pedro Ximenez Sherry Puncheons with spirit from Chinuapin virgin oak barrels has created a nedley of dark fruit, baking spices and chocolate tones. We proudly present this Sinteis bottlingat 57.8%abv, natural colour and non-chill filtered, allowing the unique spirit to speak for itself. Glenallachie Distillery.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Liquorice, butterscotch and grilled honeycomb, with candied orchard fruits, cocoa and treacle tart.

Palate: Ginger, butterscotch and candied lemon slices, followed by fig jam, blackberries and molasses, with cinnamon spice and rich cocoa on the finish.

Glenallachie Distillery

The distillery was established in 1967 and is located near Aberlour in Speyside and may be one of the youngest distilleries in Speyside.
In 2017 Billy Walker-master distiller, Graham Stevenson and Trisha Savage came together to acquire the GlenAllachie distillery and form The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited. Together they have almost 100 years experience in the Scotch whisky industry.
In July 2018 their first core range of single malts whiskies were released to the world. A range of 10,12,18 and 25 years old. In 2019 a visitor centre opened growing to now boast a bar and tasting room, offering tours and experiences. In 2021 Billy Walker was inducted into Whisky magazine’s hall of fame and their 10 year old  cask strength won best single malt at the world whisky awards.
