Tasting Notes
Nose: Vibrant and expressive, bursting with sweet tropical fruits (banana, melon), tutti-frutti, and buttery pastry. Hints of waxiness and creamy vanilla custard provide deep elegance
Palate: Lush tropical and stone fruits lead the way, paired with sweet kumquats and sugared almonds. This is supported by notes of honeycomb and a delightfully waxy, creamy, and oily mouthfeel
Finish: Long, warming, and pleasantly sweet. It leaves lingering notes of gooseberries, gentle oak, and spice.

Arran Distillery
The distillery was opened in 1995, at Lochranza, in the north of the Island. It is the perfect location for producing the perfect Malt. The area is home to arguably the purest water in all of Scotland. The water from Loch na Davie delivered by the burn Easan Biorach meaning ‘sharp waterfalls’ in gaelic. water that’s been cleansed by granite and softened by means Arran distillers can create a clean, sweet dram that is natural and unadulterated. Arrans island microclimate of sea breezes, fresh mountain air and influence of the gulf stream allows speedy maturation. Only the traditional methods of distilling are used, with wooden wash-backs and copper stills, designed to an exact specification. All malts are non chill filtered, never have added colouring or strip out flavour. Meaning they are natural in pigment and exactly the way whisky should be (Isle of Arran 2024).
