This whisky has a unique nose of sweet dessert wine, dried fruits, rich oak and subtle citrus, complimented by copious sweet malt, poached pears, creamy berries, caramel and candied ginger on the palate, and topped off by a long, sweet finish carries hints of gentle spice from the cask finish.

Bonnington
Bonnington Distillery Leith and the new home of Crabbie Single Malt Whisky filled its first cask in March 2020; one of Scotland’s most enduring and celebrated whisky brands, fuses tradition and innovation through a dynamic range of whiskies, all reflective of John Crabbie’s passion for producing the finest spirits. The distillery project was delayed by almost a year, largely due to significant archaeological finds at the site including evidence of a previous distillery dating back to the 1700s, furnaces from a bronze foundry, a ’lost mansion’ named Bonnington House and even evidence of ‘The Siege of Leith’ from the sixteenth century.
