This whisky has a unique nose of rich and fruity, complimented by mixed spice, zesty orange, rich sultanas and chopped hazelnuts on the palate, and topped off by a dark chocolate, black cherries and morello cherry jam finish.

Auchentoshan
Auchentoshan is located at the foot of the Kilpatrick Hills on the outskirts of Clydebank in West Dunbartonshire near the Erskine Bridge in the West of Scotland. The distillery is also known as Glasgow Malt Whisky due to being close to Glasgow, in the Lowlands Region. Auchentoshan was established in 1823 by Thorne, an engineer from Greenock. The distillery suffered severe damage during a German air raid in 1941, with a warehouse destroyed production ceased. It changed hands many times, bought over by Eddie Cairns in 1969, Morrison Bowmore distillers in 1984 and finally Suntory (later becoming Beam Suntory Inc) in 1994. Special bottling’s are released periodically and the distillery has a visitor centre and conference facilities, both completed in 2005, and is open to the public for tours every day. Auchentoshan have performed well in international competitions and received double gold medals at the 2008 San Francisco World Spirits Competition (Auchentoshan 2024).
