Tasting Notes

Nose: Initial rich, smoky aromas from Port Ellen, layers of sweet, fresh fruits like apples, pears, and bananas, spicy complexity with hints of Christmas pudding, brandy butter, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Palate: A smooth, velvety, and full-bodied entry with an abundance of spice and dried fruits (raisins, figs), rich notes of dark chocolate, toffee, and roasted nuts balanced by creamy vanilla, subtle, sophisticated flavours of sandalwood and very refined wood smoke.

Finish: Exceptionally long and warming, lingering maritime Islay smokiness that gathers momentum, alongside hints of spice, pepper, and salt caramel.
